New Program To Give Indiana Homeowners Money To Keep Homes
In a news report by www.theindychannel.com, it was revealed that Hoosier homeowners who are facing foreclosure will soon be in a position to keep their homes due to federal grant of $221 million. Under this new option, families can qualify for up to $18,000 which can be used to catch up their payments or pay down the principal mortgage balance. Advocates for the Foreclosure Prevention Network are excited at this new program due to the fact that options for those who didn’t qualify for a loan modification are now available. Officials say this program will be available until the year 2017 or as long as there is money in the fund.
